There are a lot of things to consider when stretching, it’s important to not over stretch or push your muscles too hard. Do NOT try and push yourself too hard when stretching because stretching can cause permanent injuries to your muscles and joints the same as working out without stretching. When stretching before your workout in Runyon Canyon don’t push yourself past your comfort level, when you feel discomfort in your muscles and joints while stretching then you have reached an acceptable point, hold these stretches for a short period of time to warm up your muscles for the real workout.
