Can the public enter the Houses of Parliament?
Yes, you can go into the Houses of Parliament – either on a tour, to go and see a debate or committee, to watch Prime Minister’s Questions or Minister’s Questions, to attend a talk or event or to go and petition your MP. You can’t, however, just walk around and see the inside of the Palace of Westminster unguided.

The Visitors’ Gallery, formally known as the Strangers’ Gallery, is set aside for members of the public at the British House of Commons, and is intended for both invited and uninvited members of the public to watch the proceedings of the House. A similar gallery exists in the House of Lords.
