How do you play the card game in between the sheets?
The player designates any aces in the hand as being either high (above a king) or low (below a two). After the wager is placed, a third card is dealt between the other two. If this card’s rank falls between the ranks of the other two, the player wins. The dealer pays their bet out from the pot, at even money.

If an Ace comes up as the second card turned it is always considered the high Ace. If a player “Posts” on an Ace they are required to pay four times their bet for that hand. Aces also cause an automatic loss if it is the third card turned when the first two cards are a match, e.g. 6,6.

The following rules apply:
- A checker may be moved only to an open point, one that is not occupied by two or more opposing checkers.
- The numbers on the two dice constitute separate moves.
- Doubles are played twice.
- You must use both numbers of a roll if possible, or all four numbers in the case of doubles.
Can you put the same card down in spit?
Many times both players can play a card on the same pile. In that case the player who gets there first gets the play and the other player must take back their card.
