A grand baronial house and estate in Stirling Council Area, Blair Drummond lies a mile to the south of Doune and 4 miles (6 km) northwest of Stirling. The present three-storeyed baronial house, designed by J.C. Walker and built in 1868-72, replaced an earlier mansion created by Alexander McGill in 1715.

In 1975, the house and 17 acres of grounds were sold to the Camphill Trust as a Residential Home. Sir John and Lady Muir have retained the remainder of the estate and now live at Bankhead House, to the west of the Blair Drummond policies.

Can you walk around Blair Drummond Safari?
Most of the park is for walking around, the drive through areas are fairly large for the animals and the road is wide enough to pass traffic if someone stops to take a photo. The animals seen from the car are few.
