How do you get into the Blue Devils?
To participate in Blue Devils B, you must:
- be between ages 14–19.
- live in California.
- fulfill financial requirements.
- get to and from rehearsals and events safely.
- have fulfilled all Blue Devils obligations from previous summer and/or winter programs.
How much does it cost to audition for the Blue Devils?
Program Fees Your financial obligation to the Blue Devils for the 2020 season will be *approximately* $3,500. This covers fees for all uniforms, camps, rehearsals, and the summer tour. Upon acceptance to the corps, a deposit is required: $300 for brass/percussion and $600 for color guard.
Are Blue Devils Marching 2021?
Blue Devils and Santa Clara Vanguard will not be performing in Indianapolis in 2021. They made the right call. Bad news never gets better with age.

Who were the Blue Devils?
During World War I the Chasseurs Alpins, nicknamed “les Diables Bleus,” were well known French soldiers. They first gained attention when their unique training and alpine knowledge was counted upon to break the stalemate of trench warfare in their native region of the French Alps.
How old is DCI?
21 years of age
DCI limits the age of participants to “21 years of age and younger.” A participant who is 22 years before June 1 would be unable to compete. Some European and Asian drum corps associations have no age limit.
How many members are in Blue Devils?
Over 500 young people, ages seven to twenty-one, are currently members of the Blue Devils performing units. Over 6,000 young people, in 1,800 families, have been served by the Blue Devils since 1957.

How much does it cost to March Bluecoats?
The cost for marching last season is $2,750. $2,450 in tour fees and $300 for spring training for first year members. This does not include around an additional $70 for your mouth piece, compression shirt, and hype shorts.
Are Blue Devils good?
Whatever the case is, there a good arguments on both sides of the spectrum. Critics can’t deny the Blue Devil’s prowess in the drum corps world. Their 16 world championships and world record high score of 99.65/100 shows that they are undoubtedly a talented group of staff and performers.
