How long is the SafeSport training?

How do I retake SafeSport training?
Once a Participant has taken the SafeSport Trained Core, they will only need to take a SafeSport Refresher Course on an annual basis each of the next three years, which will be available in their SafeSport account when they login to take the training, and then the SafeSport Trained Core again in the fifth year.

The Policy requires that every employee or volunteer of any USA Hockey Member Program must report (1) actual or perceived violations of the USA Hockey Safe Sport Program Handbook, (2) any violations of the policies prohibiting Sexual Abuse, Physical Abuse, Emotional Abuse, Bullying, Threats and Harassment, and Hazing.

The Safe Sport Training and Refresher Training are each valid for one (1) season beginning on 4/1/21. As of January 1, 2018, all relevant individuals who need to be Safe Sport certified or are seeking recertification will need to complete the new Safe Sport training, which features updated content.

Safety rules for archery include keeping the bow aimed away from people, leaving archers alone while they shoot and watching out for arrows stuck into targets, but common sense remains the most important safety measure.

Arrows are lightweight projectiles, so they can be damaged through normal use (and via transport, impact, crushing, etc.). Be advised, shooting a damaged arrow is extremely unsafe! You could be seriously injured. Never assume ANY arrow is safe – NOT EVEN A BRAND NEW ARROW – until you have verified it yourself.
Is archery safe for kids?
Is Archery Safe For Kids? The answer is absolutely , with supervision at certain ages. Archery is not inherently dangerous when safety guidelines are followed. But I would say kids under the age of 10 (this depends on the maturity of the kid) will need supervision while shooting a youth archery bow.
