Visits to the site are strictly by appointment only and must be booked in advance via the website. Please only try to book a visit to the HRRC if you really need to. Our recycling, rubbish, garden waste and bulky waste home collection services are all running – try to use these to manage your waste instead.

Cement board, mortar and rendering, paving slabs and breeze blocks will all carry a £3+ charge per bag or large item. Plate glass, shower screens and glass tiles will all be subject to the tip charge by item or bag.
Is Tavistock tip open?
‘ The recycling centre will be open seven days a week and usual hours; 9am – 5pm weekdays and 10am -6pm weekends. To protect the public and staff a series of health protection measures will be in force, including a one-in one-out policy and two-metre social distancing guidelines.
